We are going to colocate on a tower with a AM skirt transmiter. The top 50 ft of tower is not used by the am gear. this is a 200 ft tower witht he am skirt using about 130 ft starting at 15 ft above ground

anyone have any issues with this

You're very brave. What kind of xmt power is the AM station running?

Are you planning to run fiber to the top?

At least you'll be able to climb the tower at night and in cold weather, since the climber will glow in the dark and get all toasty warm.

Seriously, quite awhile back I talked to the engineer at a low power AM station near here and he said another WISP tried to use their tower and had no luck.

Thank you

Guess I will scrap that idea

daytime power is 500 watts  night is 100

thought maybe with top 50 ft clear it might work

oh well
