TrangoLINK-10™ operates at 5.8 GHz and the TrangoLINK-10A™‡ is dual band and operates at 5.8 GHz and 5.3 GHz‡. Both versions provide network operators with an inexpensive, yet powerful outdoor-ready point-to-point IP-native link. The system delivers 10 Mbps of sustained throughput up to 10 miles with integrated antennas and up to 40 or more miles with external antennas. This robust wireless bridge can be deployed as a backhaul system or as a wireless alternative to leased line and multiple E1/T1 circuits.

TrangoLINK-10 provides channels of operation in the license-exempt 5.8 GHz ISM band and the dual-band TrangoLINK-10A‡ provides channels of operation in both the 5.8 GHz ISM and the 5.3 GHz U-NII bands‡.

Long Range
A variety of long range antennas are available including the integrated 10 mile (14 km) antenna as well as the optional external antennas for ranges or 20 miles and 40+ miles (64 km) in the 5.8 GHz band. Antenna polarity and channel selections are remotely switchable, and selectable receiver threshold provides additional interference mitigation.
Speed
Both models efficiently deliver 10 Mbps of real throughput for high-bandwidth backhaul applications.
Configuration and Management
Configuration is simple and can be performed in a matter of minutes. Both models provide users with powerful remote management tools via telnet and web-browser interfaces as well as SNMP. The SmartSEEK™ redundancy feature provides continuous search and reassociation functionality.
Security
Both models utilize direct sequence spread spectrum (DSSS) technology, providing excellent range and immunity to interference. MAC authentication, coupled with transmission scrambling provides a high degree of over-the-air security.
Durability, Rugged Outdoor Design, Ease of Installation
Both models are designed for harsh outdoor environments and operate from -40° to +140° F. Additionally, the system's Power-over-Ethernet capability ensures easy installation and quick deployment.
