"The RSSI digital LED readout on the radio is the best feature on ANY radio I've used… The links all installed perfectly… They have been rock solid since the installation and we have had heavy wind, over 12 inches of snow and varying weather conditions…"

Licensed Wireless Frequency Comparison
Which licensed wireless band is best for your application? Below are a few basic factors to consider. Essentially, the lower the frequency band, the more resilient it is against rain fade and the longer the range. Each licensed frequency band has a minimum antenna size limitation, per the FCC (USA).
| Licensed Frequency | Description/Qualities of Licensed Bands | Licensed Solutions |
| 23 GHz | With a minimum permitted antenna dish diameter of 1 ft. (FCC), it allows a very small footprint which makes it ideal for short range, high bandwidth needs. | 23 GHz - TrangoLINK® Apex 23 GHz - TrangoLINK Giga® |
| 18 GHz | Provides the most bandwidth of all the bands at a greater range. Minimum antenna size: 2 ft. (FCC). | 18 GHz - TrangoLINK® Apex 18 GHz - TrangoLINK Giga® |
| 15 GHz | Suited for medium-range to long-range high performance links. | 15 GHz - TrangoLINK® Apex 15 GHz - TrangoLINK Giga® |
| 11 GHz | Good for medium-range to long-range high performance links. Minimum antenna size: 2 ft. (FCC). | 11 GHz - TrangoLINK® Apex 11 GHz - TrangoLINK Giga® |
| 6 GHz | Nearly impervious to rain fade effects, makes it ideal for long haul links and robust performance during bad weather and regions with high precipitation rates. Minimum antenna size: 6 ft. (FCC). | 6 GHz - TrangoLINK Giga® |
| 4.9 GHz | Licensed band for public safety service agencies in the USA and some other countries. | 4.9 GHz - Atlas 4900 |
